      40kms northeast from pune is situated a small village known as Tulapur. Though it is of historic importance the history of this village has not reached far and wide. Formely it was known as Narayngaon or (Nagargaav). It is situated at a place where three rivers viz. Bheema Bhama and Indrayani meet.

      It has an ancient temple of lord shiva better known as shri Sangameshwar Mandir. It also hold the shrine of Shri Sambhaji Maharaj. The son of Great Shivaji Maharaj


      If you just like a place so much that you like Tulapur, situated 40km away find it difficult to leave this then it is surely due to the villages historical importance nature’s beauty and pleasant environment of the village.
